Roy visits Aas Mek

Decca Wipers is going further out into the world! In the previous article , Roy talked about Decca's vision to deepen the relationships we have with our customers. Roy is looking for that personal approach to really get to know their business. He is travelling the world to meet them. We will keep you updated on this journey. Roy is visiting Aas Mek. Verksted shipyard in Norway, the court supplier for Sølvtrans, which is a leading well boat operator. It was a great opportunity to see two of their new-build boats with our wipers.

Marine cluster

In Norway, the most important maritime cluster surrounds the beautiful city of Ålesund. Aas Mek is one of the maritime companies. The company has more than 100 years of experience. Aas Mek Verksted is a family owned company that specialises in the development and construction of well boats. The company also provides new construction, engineering, repair and maintenance services for the majority of ships.

Wipers mounted and delivered

During this visit Roy has the unique opportunity to have a look at the Decca wipers on two boats. Decca wipers are already fitted to the new built NB 212. We will also be supplying a new set of wipers to the next boat, NB 213. Roy: "Here we'll have the chance to see both the wipers fitted and a delivery from us taking place simultaneously. It's a good opportunity to talk about their business, our wipers and how we can best serve their needs.
